First started in Real Estate sales in 1981

A very tough time to start a real estate business.

Interest rates as high as 18% and most sellers owed more than the could sell for.

Returned to Real Estate sales in 1992 for East West Realty.

Shifted to Edmunds Realty in 1997 when East West merged with a Coldwell Banker franchise .

a hometown boy, born and raised in Duluth Mn.  Wanted to work with a locally owned and operated broker.

Mike and Ron Edmunds, both from the area was a perfect fit.

During this period, I concentrated on commercial business sales. Home sales dominated due to the fact the total amount of business transaction in the area was not enough to justify doing just that.

Home sales became a natural fit, as I was already dealing with the business owners.

This experience in business very much applied to creative marketing of residental home.  With all the many contacts made over this period of time, and adding the transaction knowledge, gave me an extra edge when dealing with home sales.
